the thing about billy though, is that even tho he had a dickhead father, that still doesn't justify the shit he's done. if you're watched stranger things you would know that most of the characters struggle w shitty/not present father figures (will, jonathan, mike, el, dustin, nancy, even steve) but none of them turned out to be racist, abusive assholes who treat their sister like shit, attempt to run over literal children, try to beat up a black boy and many more.... not saying that if you deal w trauma you're gonna turn out to be a perfect kid (mike for example grew up to be slightly rude or more angsty you would say due to trauma) BUT that does NOT give you the right to make other ppl's lives hell.

I HAVE TO RANT! The thing is, I had a father figure growing up so I never really had problems, my biological dad didn’t want to be around me because of his addictions. However I felt more abandoned than ever when my father figure left when I was almost 11. He ended up being gay (nothing wrong with it I’m LGBTQ) and told me he’d see me again. I never did. For a long time I had daddy issues because of him, then my bio dad came back in when I was 12 or 13 and it just worsened. My bio dad is trying, always has since he came into my life again, but I could never forget my first father figure who helped raise me since I was 1. I miss him a lot. 😃
